Post-pandemic



1. Hiring needs changed - some industries needed addition workforce, some have furlough their employees.
2. The way companies recruit changed - virtual recruitment, recruitment software, live video interviews.
3. There is a global shift to remote working.
4. The job market changed - rise in unemployment, talent shortages, globalised job market
5. Hiring "hybrids" - people who will work remotely and in the office.
6. Hiring "Kings" - employees that can wear multiple hats.
7. The rise of RPO models - outsourcing recruitment.
8. Full consultancy companies, not only recruiting and staffing agency.

About The Days

Begin of 5th week in July.

Clear sky and getting warm as usual for this time of the year, after a week of colder weather.

Me in my home office. A lot of people on vacation, but not me. I don't plan vacation this year.

Coronavirus pandemic is raging in full power. Around 100 new cases daily in Croatia.

But life is trying to be normal. Only with masks and social distancing.

I do a lot of tweeting and Instagram stories these days. I try to post almost ever day to keep mi in loop of social media.

Election in Croatia is done and we have new parliament and new goverment and it seems it will be stable goverement for some time.

The economic woes are just starting to have serious impact on croatian economy. We are in early stages of the crisis.
