Uninspired attempts. Unnecessary music and lyrics.
Generic and average at best. Perhaps overproduced and sterile. Popish. Boring and forgetable.
Slash's music just doesn't evolve like his playing. He's better than ever on guitar but just doesn't evolve like musician.
Myles's voice just doesn't fit with Slash music. He's OK with some songwriting.
I sense part of the problem is that he tours all the time and doesn't have much time or real inspiration for inspired music writing.
